The Frist Center for the Visual Arts is a nonprofit art-exhibition center, with approximately 24,000 square feet of gallery space, dedicated to presenting the finest visual art from local, state and regional artists, as well as major U.S. and international exhibitions.

Hours of Operation

This museum is open seven days a week on the following schedule:

  • Monday - Wednesday: 10:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m.
  • Thursday - Friday: 10:00 a.m.–9:00 p.m.
  • Saturday: 10:00 a.m.–5:30 p.m.
  • Sunday: 1:00–5:30 p.m.

Holiday Hours:

  • Thanksgiving: Closed
  • Christmas Eve: 10:00 a.m.–3:00 p.m.
  • Christmas: Closed
  • New Year's Day: Closed
