Geyser Gulch®

Geyser Gulch offers Silver Dollar City visitors an expansive water-themed play area for a splashing good time!

The Silver Dollar City theme park offers Branson visitors a full day of more than 20 thrilling rides and attractions, over 40 entertaining shows, and an exciting look back into the 19th century culture of the Ozarks, modeled after an 1800s Ozark town. From rushing roller coasters to wet water rides, you'll find it all! Take in a one-of-a-kind show or take a class at the Culinary & Crafts School! No matter how you choose to spend your time at Silver Dollar City, it's bound to be an excellent day.

What's more, throughout 2010, Silver Dollar City will be celebrating its 50th birthday, complete with special events and giveaways. Additionally, the park will present its many annual festivals including National KidsFest, World-Fest, Southern Gospel Picnic, and National Harvest Festival, each with its own unique musical acts, dining options and other attractions. No matter how or when you choose to spend your time at Silver Dollar City, the entire family is bound to find numerous entertainment options.

Shows

Silver Dollar City presents 40 live shows daily to ensure that guests are kept entertained even when they need a break from the rides.

• Great American Country Nights at Echo Hollow®— Experience country entertainment under the stars in the 4,000 seat Echo Hollow Amphitheatre. The show, complete with song, dance and comedy, pays tribute to the Ozarks' roots. 
• Choctaw Charlie's Frontier Follies- Set in the Wild West, this is a high-energy, comedy detailing what happens when two city slickers try to direct the saloon's new show. 
• Cajun Connection - Join Cedric Benoit and the Cajun Connection for a traditional time of bayou entertainment.
• Horsecreek Band- Dubbed the Silver Dollar City "house band," the Horsecreek Band presents a traditional time of country, bluegrass and gospel.

Ride Highlights

• Tom & Huck's RiverBlast - This exciting water ride features rafts that are equipped with water blasters, allowing riders to shoot other raft riders and onlookers. As a ride sure to get you soaked, it is the perfect way to cool off during a hot Missouri summer (New for 2010!).
• The GIANT Swing - On The GIANT Swing you'll be launched nearly 7 stories in the air at speeds of up to 45 mph before rocketing back in the other direction for a barn swing quite unlike any you've experienced before.
• WildFire®  - With multi-loops, and speeds of 66 mph Wildfire is definitely the sort of ride that will leave even the toughest coaster critic impressed.
• PowderKeg® - This $10 million dollar coaster combines compressed air-launch technology, gravitational force and speeds in excess of 64 mph for a truly impressive thrill ride experience.
• The Grand Exposition— 10 different family-style rides send you flying, spinning and even hopping! Steeped in the rich traditions of great World's Fairs of the time, it's the perfect play area for your family.

Silver Dollar City features much more than the usual theme park T-shirt shops. There are over 60 unique shops within the theme park featuring a number of works and demonstrations by skilled craftsmen.

• Heartland Home Furnishings - Experience a unique home-style showroom and purchase furnishings made by hand.
• The Greatest Gift - Named for the Bible verse John 3:16, The Greatest Gift features a wide variety of Bibles, religious books, Christian apparel and more.
• Apple Butter Shop - A Silver Dollar City favorite, the Apple Butter Shop sells an assortment of apple butter, jams, jellies made from both Silver Dollar City and regional chains.
• Hazel's Blown & Cut Glass Factory- A signature craft at Silver Dollar City, guests are greeted by an extensive variety of blown glass decor pieces, as well as cut glass items.

Regardless of your culinary tastes, you're sure to find more than a few great dining options amongst Silver Dollar City's dozens of restaurants and snack shops.

• Eva & Delilah's Bakery- Enjoy the bakeries famous stuffed turnovers and even watch as they prepare their products.
• Lucky Silver Mine Restaurant- You'll find a hearty sit-down meal for the entire family with the Silver Mine Restaurant, specializing in BBQ Pork Roast and Smoked Beef Brisket.
• Lumbercamp- At the Lumbercamp, you'll find a variety of skillet dishes, hamburgers and sandwiches specially prepared to satisfy even the hungriest of loggers.
• Riverside Rib House- As the name implies, ribs are the main course on the menu, though you'll find a variety of mouth-watering barbecue being served up.
• Buckshot Annie's Chicken Shack- If you're in the mood for poultry, there's no better stop than Buckshot Annie's Chicken Shack.

• Price includes Two-Day admission to the park. The admission price includes everything but food and shopping; rides and most shows are included. The second day visit must be within 3 days of the 1st visit. All rides, shows, and attractions are available to ticket-holders (Culinary & Craft classes require a fee).
• Operating hours vary. Spring and Fall hours vary from 9:00 a.m.- 7:00 p.m. to 10:00 a.m.- 6:00 p.m. Summer hours are 9:30 a.m.- 7:00 p.m. November and December hours vary from 1:00 p.m.- 9:00 p.m. to 12:00 p.m.-9:30 p.m. Hours are subject to change.
• Silver Dollar city provides both free and paid parking lots.
• There are numerous gift shops and dining venues in the park.
• Cameras and video cameras are encouraged.
• All ages are admitted to the park, although height and age restrictions apply to some of the rides.
• Casual dress and walking shoes are recommended.
• The park is handicap accessible; some park attractions are not.
• Electric scooters and wheelchairs are available as you first enter the park. Fees apply for both electric scooters and wheelchairs.
• If inclement weather causes any part of the park to shut down, you may exchange your admission for a Great Weather Ticket good for one complimentary visit to Silver Dollar City during this season. (Not valid on season passes, Bring a Friend tickets or complimentary tickets.)
