Statue of Liberty and Ellis Island Tour in Spanish
Here you'll learn about the history of this country, see statues representing America's heroes, and much more. On the ferry from New York City to Liberty Island, you can watch the Hudson River and New Jersey views. Then the boat will take you between the island and Ellis Island. There are many picturesque views from Liberty Island. At night, you can see its crown light up. You can also enjoy a panoramic view of Manhattan, Brooklyn Bridge, and New York Harbor. You'll learn about the history of this country and start your tour on Ellis Island with a short film about its past.
You'll see highlights like a room where immigrants were examined for health problems, dormitories, and a kitchen cafe with old furniture that immigrants once used. Before the visit, you will be briefed about precautions to take on Ellis Island, like not bringing in large bags and cameras, shoes (with a special strap attached to prevent losing them), toiletries and medications. Then you can arrive at the immigration area where you'll see a museum on immigration, much like America. You'll see photos of immigrants who took part in this historic event.
