Visit sights in Harlem pertaining to the culturally explosive days of 1920's Harlem, when art and culture was used as a tool for African-Americans and Blacks to define ones own self image, therefore redefining how the world viewed people of color in America. Walk in the footsteps of legendary figures such Marcus Garvey, Langston Hughs, Duke Ellington, Billie Holiday, Harry Wills, Eubie Blake and many more.
Itinerary
  1. Stops at: Apollo Theater
    We end the tour at the Apollo Theater known worldwide for its legendary Amateur Night showcase every Wednesday early evening. At this this we do go inside to see the gift shop area, but the theater for tours is currently off limits due to COVID 19.

  2. Stops at: Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture
    The Schomburg Center for Research in Black Culture is the preeminent institution for research and preservation of history across the Black diaspora. The institution archives more than ten million items pertaining the Black experience. There is usually an exhibit within the facility for public viewing. This is where we meet for the tour before 2 hour Harlem Renaissance Multimedia Walkng Tour.
