The Dinner show was fantastic...and the Jack & Coke was even better! We were served our dinner last, so our cuts of Prime Rib were quite fatty :(

We were a little disapointed. Too little sailing and too much show and dinner time. A band played 45 minutes BEFORE sailing! Then dinner and another show.
We spent like 15 minutes OUTSIDE during the trip and there wasn't much to look at we're sorry to say.

We bought the pictures they take of you for $22.00, which was way over priced for the quality and number of pictures you get. Dont buy the pictures, take your own camera and have one of the empl.s take your picture.

It was a great cruise, and the meal and show was fabulous, but I would have preferred to sit on the deck, and see the georgous view. and sitting on the balcony to see the show would have been great, but I did not have the option to pick that, the only difference was the prices. It did not explain what the options were.

Most excellent entertainment and prime rib was just right. Outstanding service. Recommend the Captains tour and VIP treatment if you get there a half hour early. We will go again and highly recommend this Cruise and Dinner.

Table guests were friendly, food was absolutely delicious plus we had plenty of it. The entertainment was out of sight. This is our second time on the General, and will most likely not be the last. A fun-filled evening of food and entertainment all at the same place.

Was on the dinner cruise Sunday night, 10/5/08. This is probably my 4th or 5th time I've gone on it. It is so well worth going on. The entertainment was great. I didn't buy a drink, so I can't comment on that, but the dinner was excellent and our table was great. The dinner was served hot and when you can step out onto the deck to see the lights of Nashville, it's just great.
They named the entertainment show this night Nash-Vegas. We had Tina Turner, Elton John and Elvis. The only one that wasn't very good was Elvis. I think they could have found a better one.
If you have the chance to take this cruise, you will not be disappointed. We definitely were not. I'm looking forward to going again in the future.

We missed our cruise by 5 minutes because of the distance we had to travel to get there. We were able to exchange our tickets for the very next day without any problems. Had a blast and the band was great! Will definitely do this again. This was our second time already!

I only got the cruise part and not the show...however, next time I think I will do the cruise and the lunch...no show - because the show is inside and you don't get to see the beautiful lake and the scenery if you are inside on the boat watching the show...very relaxing!

The boat and river were great! But there was no coommentary about the river or boat or city or anything for two and one-half hours. If you didn't pay to watch the acrobats and eat inside, then all you did was watch the river bank go by.

We went on the evening dinner cruise on July 3,2008. It was great! The dinner was wonderful, the show was terrific, I highly recommend the General Jackson cruise. We saw the Nash Vegas show, and it was great! Tina Turner was excellent and very entertaining. Next time, I would like to take the outer deck cruise to enjoy the night air more, as we were inside for most of the cruise.

Absolutely wonderful experience on the boat..... We got there early enough to enjoy the beautifuly scenery, We did the Southern Nights Cruise and it was just what we hoped for, casual and comfortable. The drinks were a little overpriced as well as the souveniers were, but I guess that is to be expected when on vacation. But this is something we would do again .....
