Hopsewee Plantation, Georgetown, SC

Take a trip to Georgetown, SC and visit one of the most historical sites, Hopsewee Plantation, built almost forty years before the Revolutionary War.  Hopsewee Plantation is still a  private residence and a typical dwelling of the eighteenth century, and has only been owned by five people. The house was originally owned by Thomas Lynch, a signer of the Declaration of Independence.  Tours are available for you to view the intricate furnishings in the house.
