Come on down to hunt for bargains at the local Mud Sales! That's right, shop for bargains on Amish quilts, antiques, lawn equipment, and more. An Original term just for this area, a Mud sale is an auction/sale, that is approprialy named reffering to the condition of the thawing ground. These events attract thousands of people that are looking for bargains. They are held at a variety of local fire companies, and begin at 8:30 a.m. sharp, but activities continue throughout the day. Sales are held February through April, at various locations.
