Great Smoky Mountain National Park in Gatlinburg, TN

Don't leave Great Smoky Mountains National Park without first going for a hike along the Jakes Creek Trail, and Little Pigeon River - Middle Prong has a wonderful whitewater paddling spot nearby.

A journey to Great Smoky Mountains National Park is a glorious choice when you
must spend some time in nature. The skiing at Ober Gatlinburg is delightful, and lots of folks from Gatlinburg come here. Be careful coming to the Great Smoky Mountains, you might not ever want to go home again. Dry warm beds await you at Kingwood Inn; a splendid place for whitewater paddling is Little Pigeon River - West Prong.

Pigeon River - West Prong - Roaring Fork is a fine whitewater spot in the neighborhood of Great Smoky Mountains National Park, and a lovely lake like Hidden Mountain Lake Number Two is a fine site to check out. The top of Piney Butt is easily seen from Great Smoky Mountains National Park; while you're here why not stop at Jack Hollow.
