-Gayla, Goldthwaite, Texas Dick's Five-and-Dime is Top Treat
Dick's Five-and-Dime was our favorite stop among all the shops in the area of downtown Branson and Branson Landing. A walk through its narrow aisles with shelves packed floor-to-ceiling is a nolstalgic walk through history. And Dick's offers items almost impossible to find elsewhere. Especially enticing were such items as bags of marbles, Tinker Toys and other treaures that recall an earlier time.
At the same time, the store stocks the latest in household goods, stunning WW II art prints, and unusual gift items such as the over-sized table lamp with a base shaped like a life-sized woman's leg in net stockings.
From past to present, from serious to silly, from fancy to frivilous, Dick's has it all. Be sure to schedule more than just a few minutes to browse through this fun store.
