This 40-mile roundtrip journey in vintage cars will teach you the history of the area on Missouri's only scenic railway, the Ozark Zephyr. Lined with Ozark trees, the railway traverses paths inaccessible by driving and features 360-degree views from 150 feet in the air. The near 2 hour ride will go 20 miles before turning around and pass through tunnels and cross bridges and trestles with historic importance to the growth of the area. It is recommended to buy tickets in advance, as the first 30 seats go in the first car, the enviable dome car.
