Culture and great arts are things that everyone enjoys viewing, whether you're a local in the area just in town on vacation. In addition the many other attractions you will find in Tennessee, you will be amazed at the Delta Axis @ Marshall Arts in Memphis, TN.
Delta Axis is a non-profit organization offering visual arts for the past fourteen years. They are one of the only groups in Memphis that displays only contemporary art and is dedicated to keeping this role in an area of the south that craves creative contemporary arts. Whether it's art or film work, Delta Axis has the goal of presenting the most highly recognized contemporary art to Memphis and nearby global communities. Delta Axis has four different visual arts outlets in Memphis. One of their outlets, Delta Axis @ Marshall Arts offers you the chance to view and learn about works from local, national and international artists. These artists are great and their work goes beyond the traditional art, which is why Delta Axis @ Marshall Arts promotes them so publicly.
Delta Axis @ Marshall Arts promotes work from artists all across the country and brings it to the Memphis area. It's located in Marshall Arts, an artist studio building in an industrial neighborhood bringing in many of the local artists and giving them a venue to exhibit their fabulous work. It is thanks to the generous support of the Hyde Family Foundations, the Andy Warhol Foundation for visual arts and the Tennessee Arts Commission that they are allowed to remain open and successful.
The Gallery hours are Saturdays from 1 p.m. to 5 p.m. or by appointment.
