Step back into the 1980s in an arcade called 1984 in Springfield, Missouri, just 30 minutes north of Branson.

Pay just 1 small fee at the door, and play all your favorite 80's arcade games all day, for free. No tokens, no change machines, no pockets full of quarters. See and hear all the old classic games with the music you knew so well as a kid. Although its mostly 80's games, there are a few from the 70's and 90's.  Occasionally there are tournaments, offering prizes, and goodies to the winners. It's an entirely 80's themed arcade, with 80's music playing overhead, and 80's music videos being projected onto an entire wall.

Come and play games like Rampage, Gorf, Tron, Asteroids, Centipede, Golden Axe, Galaga, Space Invaders, and many, many more. 1984 is more than an arcade, it's a video game museum, and a wonderfully nostalgic journey for adults and kids alike that love the 1980s.

The Coolest Arcade EVER!
Oh My goodness! I am only 12yrs. old and I feel like I know every cool arcade game of the '80s. I played for 2 hours straight and bought a SAVE FERRIS pin and also a Terminator pin. The bathroom glows in the dark and the biggest hits of the '80s play on T.V.'s around the arcade. And it's only 5$ a person! To me, that's a steal for unlimited game play!!!!

I graduated from high school in 1984. I took my sons (11 & 13) so they could see the games that were available when I was a kid. I figured they would go and try a few and want ot leave. They loved it we will be going later today for our 3 trip in 1 month. We will be meeting 3 other father/son groups. It is only $5 per person t get in and play all you want. The pinball costs 25 cents per game due to the maintainence expense. They also have a nice little snack bar.
