Grand Jubilee Customer Reviews

Wow! What an awesome performance. This is the first time we have been to Branson, and saw five shows. The Grand Jubilee is by far the best of the best. All the performers were so, so good. The show was very energizing and made you feel great to be there. The performers obviously loved what they were doing. Thank you for paying tribute to the men and women who have and are currently serving our country in the military. The show lasted a little over two hours, and when it was over, it seemed like we had just gotten there. We're coming back and bringing our family! Jamie, you know nothing about my life situation, but believe me when I say that you so deeply touched my heart tonight when you sang For What Earthly Reason. Thank you.

Grand Jubilee for 2008 made its debut on 14 January and is going strong. New songs, new comedy routines, new people (Jason Pritchett and Jackie Brown), and new costumes all combine for a terrific fast moving production designed to entertain the whole family. Special lighting effects on many of the numbers make a lasting impact. A few of the most popular segments from last year have been retained but most of the 2008 show is new. I don?t know how they keep coming up with these new ideas but they are fresh and executed with perfection. New standout songs performed by New South this year include the Statler Brothers, Elizabeth, and The Lighthouse in the gospel segment. All of their songs are done with powerful harmonies so it?s hard to single out any one but I walked out of the theatre with Elizabeth and The Lighthouse on my mind. They are still on my mind. The Grand Band is back, intact, and just as great as ever. Of all the shows in Branson, when you look only at the band, the Grand Band is at the top of the list for sheer talent on each instrument. Todd Bradshaw and Jackie Brown each give strong solo performances. Both are exceptionally versatile and polished. You can?t tell which genre they personally favor because they do such a good job on all their songs. Mike Patrick and Jim Dandy are a perfect match for each other. While Mike is the straight man for the duo he also has a natural funny streak. Jim Dandy pulls off a convincing and hilarious presentation of a variety of characters. We miss seeing Matt Ranker and Callie Agler. They left big shoes to fill with each having a personality as great as their exceptional talents. We wish them well in all their future endeavors. Grand Jubilee did a fine job in filling the void with Jason and Jackie. They fit right in and complement the entire show.

New South was awesome. I've seen this show twice and the second time was more memorable than the first time. Will see it again when we come back in April and probably again in September. Todd and Callie are awesome. Jamie is hilariously funny! So worth seeing at least once or even twice. If you see the show on a Friday night you have to stay for the live radio show. It's keeps you from having to sit in traffic and they will make sure you have a great time clogging!

The Grand Jubilee show was GREAT!! My husband and I loved it. Of course, it was even more special for me because I had the opportunity to be on stage with the fabulous New South Quartet. They are truly a wonderful sounding quartet. I loved their style of music, but most importantly, their harmony and the way they blended. We were there on the evening of March 13th, and it was a great way to start our vacation. Thank you and we hope to hear and see your show again. By the way, the rest of the show was also wonderful. Great musicians and wonderful variety. bkalin@centurytel.net

The Quartet Was the Best. I am 14 years old and New South inspired me to start singing in a quartet wich also after New South we are named New Direction, because we are going to take country a whole new direction. They have great songs the one that actually inspired me was Only In America Which they turned into a great quartet song. New South you guys are great and I hope by the time I am 28 I will have a quartet in Branson and maybe we can become Bransons second best quartet. Thanks New South.
