Angel & Vilma's Gift Shop is considered the original Route 66 gift shop.
Interstate 40 now passes right by the gift shop. There are many items that are for sale, including souvenirs pertaining to the area and basic supplies that travelers might need while on the road.
Many of the items that are sold reflect the history of Route 66, such as books, stickers and posters. The shop opened in 1987, and it is still one of the most successful small stores in the area. Thanks to the opening of the shop, people started driving on Route 66 once again, which caused business to flourish at other stores in Seligman, Arizona, where the shop is located.
While you're traveling along Route 66, stop by one of the first gift shops that was established on the road. Angel & Vilma cater to all the guests who stop by and offer a bit of history with every visit. There are restaurants in the area and a few modern shops if you're looking for something to go along with your nostalgic find. Angel & Vilma's Route 66 Gift Shop also offers barbershop services occasionally as well as hosting entertainment at the pool hall.
