The Grand Canyon Polar Express events take place throughout the holiday season in November and December. The Polar Express events are even held on Thanksgiving day. Located at Grand Canyon Railway Hotel, the event consists of a train ride to the "north pole" to see Santa. This unique way of seeing Santa with your child is exceptionally magical and special. The full train ride is about an hour long and guests are given chocolate chip cookies and hot chocolate while listening to the classic Christmas children's story written by Chris Van Allsburg: The Polar Express. Adult tickets are thirty-five dollars and children tickets are twenty-five dollars each.
The Saturday after Thanksgiving day Williams, Arizona hosts their Holiday Craft Show. This show is held at the World Famous Sultana Theater and features over thirty vendors. The Holiday Craft Show is an excellent way to kick off some Christmas shopping. Guests of the Williams Holiday Craft Show can select special Christmas or holiday gifts for the special people in their lives.
The Parade of Lights and Tree Lighting Ceremony in Williams, Arizona is held from 6:30 to 8:00 PM at the Historic U.S. 66. The event is a parade and tree lighting full of colorful holiday lights in observance of the upcoming Christmas season directly after Thanksgiving. It's a fun event to attend with family that might be visiting or gathering together in Williams for Thanksgiving.
