Dinner Detective Dinner Show
An evening allows you to experience the Dinner Detective Dinner Show. Here, you will delight your taste buds with a delicious meal while taking part in a show right before your very eyes, and you are involved! The murder mystery takes place in the present-day period and includes many actors placed throughout the audience so you never know if the person sitting next to you is the culprit! The show includes prop guns, simulated gunshots, and short blackouts to enhance the experience. Decipher the clues to solve the case set before you and become the detective you always knew you were!
Wild Horse Tour
The area is home to gorgeous wild horses that roam the shores of the Atlantic Ocean. On this fun 2.5-hour tour, you will ride in a canopied fitted truck to explore the scenery and see these majestic animals. The guide will provide live commentary along the way of fun facts, stories, and the history of the area as you head to many locations including Carova Beach, False Cape State Park, and more. Don’t forget to bring your camera as you get up-close to the beautiful horses.
Historical Landmarks and Activities
Cape Henry Lighthouse
There are two lighthouses at Cape Henry, the first was completed in 1792 and was known as the first federal construction project under the Constitution. The second was later built in 1881 after worries arose about the stability of the first lighthouse. The original stone lighthouse stands at 90 feet tall while the newer one built of cast and wrought iron stands at a whopping 157-feet. The lighthouses are open for tours so you can climb the many steps to the top for amazing coastal views. There is also a nearby gift shop and museum to learn about the history of these locations and buy souvenirs to remember your travels.
Ferry Plantation House
Built in 1830, the house has had many uses over the years including a plantation, school, post office, courthouse, and is currently a museum. Not only has the building held lots of history, the land the house was built on dates back to 1642 when this location was used as a ferry service along the Lynnhaven River that was run by Savill Gaskin. The home has been documented with hauntings of 11 spirits and is a site where many paranormal researchers come to visit.

Norfolk Botanical Garden

Nauticus & Battleship Wisconsin
Witness the Battleship Wisconsin and learn about marine research and exploration at this two-part experience. The Nauticus exhibit allows you to explore engaging displays with exhibits that feature marine science, the U.S. Navy, Tsunamis, weather conditions, and so much more. The museum includes many interactive exhibits for kids to enjoy learning about these fascinating subjects. Then, head to the Battleship Wisconsin to explore the top deck of one of the last and largest ships to be built by the U.S. Navy in 1943 and served in World War II, Korean War, and Operation Desert Storm.
Military Aviation Museum
Home to one of the largest collections of WWI and WWII military aircraft from around the world. The planes have been restored to its military condition to display these spectacular warbirds so you can witness the history and machinery from past eras during important periods of time so you can experience what others have endured. The collection ranges from planes from the 1910s to the 1950s.
