You’ll find the tastings reasonable cost & you may find one you enjoy.
If you enjoy history the Verde Valley & Cottonwood has plenty along with spirits that still reside in historical buildings. A favorite, the spirit still seen by patrons at the Su Casa Mexican Restaurant built on ancient burial grounds. Visit Cottonwood Hotel dated back to 1925, were Reverend George haunts.
Old Town Cottonwood is the historic area of Cottonwood, the center of wine country. Nestled in about a five-block stretch are some of the areas finest restaurants, multiple wine tasting rooms and an array of interesting shops, galleries and antique stores.
During the tour, you will have the choice of visiting Arizona Stronghold, the state's largest vineyard, or visit across the street to Pillsbury Winery, owned by the former Hollywood director Sam Pillsbury. Down the street are additional options to choose from, Burning Tree Cellars, Fire Mountain Cellars, Merkin Vineyards Osteria, Highway 101 Winery.
