Amitabha Stupa and Peace Park
Get spiritual enlightenment at this location that is surrounded by the red rock spires and pine trees. The location is a well-known place to pray, meditate, and healing at this place of peace in a sacred location. Dating back over 2,600 years ago, a stupa is a form of sacred architecture that represents the Mind of Enlightenment and is rare to the West.
Sedona Chapel of the Holy Cross
This Catholic Church was constructed in 1957 after local rancher and sculptor, Marguerite Brunswig Staude, was inspired by the Empire State Building to build the church. The church was originally set to be built in Hungary but aborted the plans after WW2. She then decided to build the church in her homeland of Arizona. It was constructed into the red rock buttes of Sedona and offers outstanding views of the city and surrounding landscape.
Palatki Heritage Site
Known as one of the largest cliff dwellings of the Red Rock area that dates back between 1150-1350 AD. This archaeological park provides a brilliant look back into how the Ancestral Puebloans lived and survived many years ago.
Sedona Heritage Museum
This preserved farmstead offers a look into the past of the beautiful city of Sedona. Featuring exhibits that display early settlers to the area, the Orchard Industry, ranchers and cowboys during the Wild West, and even western movies filmed in the area.
