Sushi lovers rejoice! Acclaimed Chef Shiro Kashiba has brought his culinary skill and artistry to Pike Place Market in Seattle with Sushi Kashiba.
Advertised as setting the standard for sushi quality in the city, Sushi Kashiba offers guests more than just a fine meal, but an overall fine dining experience.
Four master sushi chefs - Chef Suzuki, Chef Ben, Chef Ken, and Chef Yoshi - create the hot, cold, and sushi dishes from the small but decadent menu. Open only for dinner, Sushi Kashiba has a selection of hot ala carte dishes (including shrimp and vegetable tempura, miso soup, and fried tofu), as well as cold ala carte dishes (like Sunomono salad, broiled spinach in dashi sauce, and lightly steamed Monkfish liver with ponzo sauce). Sushi comes as part of a daily set dinner with either 11 or 13 pieces of nigiri and a four-piece special roll. Appetizer, salad, and miso soup are also included.
With its higher prices, specialty seasonal menu, and super fresh seafood (they have only to go to Pike Place Market each day to pick up their ingredients), Sushi Kashiba may not be the place for a causal dining experience. But for those sushi lovers who want the highest quality meal in the most beautiful restaurant setting, made by some of the best sushi chefs in Seattle as well as the country, this is the place they'll want to go.
