One of the most prolific shopping centers in downtown Seattle is the Pacific Place.
It is located at Sixth Avenue and Pine Street. The shopping and entertainment center is connected to Nordstrom via a sky bridge. The mall has been operational for 18 years since it was opened in October 1998.
The center features five floors and each level has a different chain of stores dealing with different wares. On the top floor, there is an AMC theater boasting of 11 screens. The middle level has stores for boutique lovers who will love the diverse collection from Barney’s NY departmental stores. Other stores dealing with fashion needs include Tiffany's, Something Silver, Papyrus Reeds, Kate Spade, Chico’s etc. The next level has delights for book lovers and gamers. Book lovers can enjoy the diverse collection at the Barnes & Noble bookstore. The AT & T GameStop is perfect for gaming enthusiasts.
The food court has a number of both decently priced and high end restaurants. Some of the high-end restaurants include the Fornaio and Din Tai Fung. Chowder fans can visit Pike Place Chowder and the soon to be opened Dim Sum restaurant. There’s also the popular Johnny Rockets restaurant at the food court.
During the holidays, it is set to snow everyday at 6 p.m. in the evening at the mall’s atrium. If you choose to shop in Seattle, the Pacific Place is definitely a good place to start off. It is safe, clean and there is ample parking space that is centrally placed and reasonably priced. You can easily proceed anywhere you’d like after visiting pacific because of the location and the sky bridge that connects it to Nordstrom.
