The Bavarian Icefest is located in Leavenworth, Washington is a winter festival. It is celebrated each year on Martin Luther King Junior weekend. The Bavarian Icefest is held inside of a village. The reason that the community of Leavenworth celebrates The Bavarian Icefest is because they love the winter time.

The reason that The Bavarian Icefest is an interesting attraction is because of the different activities. There are contests like snow sculptures. There are other activities like ice fishing,frisbee, snowball toss, ice cube tower building, ice cube scramble, and Bavarian Mug Relay. There are other activities such as snowmobile sled pull. A group of boys called the Bavarian Boondocks will give you a sled ride. Another activity that is a fun attraction is the live ice carving. They have an attraction called the Chili map with home made recipes. There is also a live DJ in their park. At the end of the festival there are fireworks!
