Seattle Scavenger Hunt Adventure
Want to explore Seattle, but not sure of what to see and where? Take this unique approach, for a tour! It's a scavenger hunt, of sorts. You have to follow the clues, leading you to unexpected delights, while seeing the usual tourist spots. Best of all, there is no time constraints, go at your own leisure. All you need is a smart phone.
Go with friends on this fun adventure. Learn about little known features, within the city that the locals all know about. You will start at the infamous Space Needle, and see other World Fair remnants, from 1962. The monorail, being one of them, which you will take a short ride, to find your next item.
Your travels will take you to Pioneer Square, a historic area, that is known for its' Romanesque Revival architecture, which was established in 1852. Sit down to eat, (a great foodie spot) in Pioneer Park to admire the old iron pergola, and people watch. You will also be directed to Pike's Place, a wonderful market place located down by the Puget Sound.
Chinatown International District, is also on your destination list too. It consists of three individual neighborhoods. Experience the vitality of Chinatown, Japantown, and Little Saigon. As you pass under the giant pergola sign, you know you have arrived.
This tour is a diverse trip through many cultures of the people of Seattle, and their history in this great city. You will find great art sculptures, paintings, and murals. You will also see many beautiful buildings, old and new. Have fun on this great tour exploring Seattle at your own pace, and all for $44.00 per person!
The adventure begins at the Seattle Center and takes you on a well-designed course that includes sights around the Space Needle as well as those found downtown and within the Pikes Place market area. The tour requires approximately 2 miles of walking and uses the Seattle Monorail system at one point in the game. The game software tracks team points and posts the final score to a city leaderboard for those with a competitive edge.
Using a smart phone as “the guide” allows participants to start when they want and determine their own pace of play, leaving time to stop for a bite to eat or simply to enjoy the best sights of the city. Great for families, friends and those ready to have fun on a scavenger hunt adventure!
