Pacific Ocean Tour - Long Beach Peninsula
The Pacific Ocean Highway is one of the most traveled in the U.S. It makes for a great road trip. many places to see along the way and many places to visit. This Pacific Ocean Tour begins in Seattle, Washington and ends in Ilwaco, Washington.
This tour will take you through many cities over the weekend. Friday is the drive from Seattle to Longbeach. The night ends with a dinner at a lovely restaurant and s'mores on the beach, and a nights sleep in the Adrift Hotel and Spa. Saturday is a day packed full of fun. After a breakfast at 42nd Street Diner, you will visit the historic Oysterville. Then, to an art gallery and horseback riding on the beach. If the weather is unfavorable then it is on to Cranberry Museum instead. Dinner is at the Shelburne Inn on the National Historic Register. Sunday, after your breakfast at the Cottage Bakery it is on to Ilwaco, a well known fishing community. Then, to Columbia Pacific Heritage Museum. Lastly the Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center, Cape Disappointment Lighthouse, the National Park, and the North-head Lighthouse. Everything is all inclusive except for 2 lunches.

Begin with the drive from Seattle you stop for lunch midway in a great ale house, then head to Longbeach, with time to relax before dinner. Dinner at a wondeful restaurant, then smores on the beach. The hotel is the Adrift Hotel and Spa. Saturday: Razor clams and eggs at the famous 42nd Street Diner (Many alternates to clams), then a visit to histoic Oysterville for a tour of oyster farming. Visit an art gallery, then go horseback riding on the beach. (If unfavorable weather) we visit the Cranberry Museum/Bogs instead. There's time for rest before dinner, our day is not rushed at all, just fun, with some exploration. Dinner is at the Shelburne Inn, on the National Historic Register, known for their creative 3-course meals, combining Northwest flavors with Old-World traditions and organic foods. Sunday: Breakfast at Cottage Bakery, then off to Ilwaco, a fishing community, to visit the Columbia Pacific Heritage Museum, and tour Illwaco's waterfront area. Next; the Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center, Cape Disappointment Lighthouse, the National Park, and the Northhead Lighthouse. All inclusive (except for 2 lunches). Room, breakfasts, dinners, entry to the Columbia Pacific Heritage Museum, Northhead lighthouse, Lewis and Clark Interpretive Center, National Park entry, State Park entry, guest speaker at Oysterville, horse back riding, Carriage Museum, and s'mores.
