"Everything was perfect..."

My sister and i had a great time on our cruise! Everything was perfect...The entertainment, the atmosphere, the meal, the wait staff. Oh, and that 45 oz frozen margarita! The only downside was the pouring rain but once we got onboard, that didn't matter. Our little waitress brought us napkins to dry our feet. So kind of her! She was the best...Wish i could remember her name. Would definitely do it again!!!! Nancy

I had a great time on my dinner/entertainment cruise. The views were incredible, the food was fantastic, the staff was friendly, and the music was great! The dance floor was fun, and necessary after eating that wonderful food! I booked the 7pm cruise, that way i got to watch the sun go down and see everything in the daylight, and at night. I will definitely go again!

I really enjoy the moment with my family on the boat. I visit savannah riverboat on jun 11, 2022, for my birthday. It was a very hot day but once on the boat it was nice. I was in a group of 4 and we sat at a table on the first level on the boat. After about an hour on the boat it became extremely hot, so we went outside to the third level which was cooler. When we came back down to the first floor right before the boat came to a stop the heat was so unbearable. The dj was great! I will be back to savannah, ga but not for the riverboat.

Relaxing ride, beautiful scenery. However, rude bartender. Being from out of state i wanted a souvenir cup so i ordered the drink that came in the cup, only to be given a generic “solo” cup. When i asked where the cup was, he snipped at me that they were out of them. I said i would have ordered a different drink in the other cup had i known that. He said i should have asked. I said no, he should have told me as he was the one who knew. He said he didn’t have to take my “tone” bc i didn’t even tip him. Well i had tipped him so that was out of line. I asked could he put this more expensive drink into the other souvenir cup bc that drink was cheaper. He stated to ring it up and told me that would be an additional $9. I felt he was rude and never have i met anyone so unwilling to help the customer.

I personally don't eat everyone's greens...But those greens were delicious. The tour itself was nice. We were on the 2nd deck so we couldn't hear everything the guide was saying. Our riverboat cruise was wonderful! It was sunny and hot and we stayed cool with a delicious smoothie. We chose to use the benches on the 3rd deck, and could see everything very well. The guide was very knowledgeable and shared much of savannah's history on the way. The canon shot at old fort jackson was the highlight.

Tip: Get there 30 early to secure the best seats.

Wonderful staff, nice views of the city, and good food. Liked the fact that you could walk around and go out on the deck and up on the top. After being delayed by a day due to bad weather, savannah riverboat allowed me to change my dinner cruise reservation by a day. From the start, the entire crew was very accommodating, a shout-out to our waiter mark for doing a super job. The dinner buffet choices was ample and the fresh fruit boat was delicious. Although parking is not cruise related, we had a difficult time finding a close by lot. We settled for public parking several blocks away. Inside temperature of the dinner level was ice cold, so cold we asked for our table to be relocated on the floor. Then a half a dozen other couples asked for the same. We ended up on the upper deck ( outside ) to thaw out. The meal was good but could have been better. The taste and the appearance of the vegetables suggested they were microwaved heated. People were picking out the shrimps from the grits and they were not hot. Cruising up and down the river was exciting. We saw dolphins, huge container ships and interesting sights on shore. We had fun.

The dinner riverboat cruise was great. The buffet was delish. If you want to go on a dinner cruise and have chow down fest on the buffet and listen to music and or dance, i'd recommend it. Very friendly staff. Negative side was that sightseeing on the river wasn't great, unless you like big ships with containers on board, i was expecting more historical sitings besides river street. But it was also fun watching the dolphins swimming along the river. Overall we had a blast!!

The evening dinner cruise was fantastic. However, the souvenir glass the staff package in the box for us was chipped and the writing was scrubbed off, we did not see the damage until we returned home, and saw this. I would not dare package a customer paid service for this. However, vacamade easy are superb. We also appreciated the email prior to our trip reminding us on little tidbits to remember to do in saving energy, time and security issues. The roast beef was to rare for me, but the buffet and entertainment was really good. With the exception of our souvenir give it 3-star.
