The Briscoe Western Art Museum is an incredible place to visit right on the banks of the San Antonio Riverwalk.

It's a lively and fascinating place that bring a collections of Western Heritage to the United States. The museum has a wide variety of artifacts that reflect Western Art, and show and tell us how Cowboys once lived.

People flock to the Briscoe Western Art Museum to see the latest exhibits and collections of paintings, photography, historical artifacts, and sculptures of Western Art that spread throughout nine galleries, and educational programs about stories Cowboys, Indians, and the American West culture. They offer free admission on Tuesdays from 4-9 p.m. There is always new collection, exhibits, and events each month, to celebrate art, history, and heritage of the American West. There is also the Jack Gunther Pavilion room, that you can rent for your next event. You can also become an exclusive member, where you can enjoy the benefits of attending many of the exhibits and collections on display.

The Briscoe Western Art Museum was designed by Lake/Flato architect firm. It is a place that was built in honor of the late Texas Governor, Dolph Briscoe, Jr. and his wife, who loved art. They were instrumental in the art community cared about preservation of art and the town of San Antonio.

There is always a reason to attend the Briscoe Western Art Museum. There are many things you can count on when you visit the museum, but especially that you will be in awe of the stories about the historical art. The museum is located in the San Antonio Public Library, awaiting to be discovered.
