Becker Vineyards near San Antonio, TX is located in a beautiful area — the Texas Hill Country! Surrounded by lavender fields, wildflowers and acres and acres of Mustang grape vines, the vineyards are host to a winery as well as a tasting room, peach orchards, a bed and breakfast and even a reception hall.

The 10,000 plus square foot winery is a architectural gem with a reproduction of a 19th century German barn and the tasting room has a large, beautiful stone fireplace and an antique red pine bar. The tasting room also consists of many different antiques and arts and crafts from local Texas artisans. You can sample a variety of wines like Sauvignon Blanc, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon and Petite Verdot.

The bed and breakfast called The Homestead is housed in a restored log cabin which was originally built in 1890. Guests receive tasty baked goods for breakfast and a gift bottle of wine. It includes a corral, a restored milking barn and even includes a hand-dug well. The reception hall called Lavender Haus is a replica of a barn located at Lyndon B. Johnson Ranch.

The Becker Vineyards is located closer to Fredericksburg and Stonewall, Texas rather than San Antonio but it is a popular place to visit for many wine lovers who are traveling to or from the San Antonio area. The vineyards are open for picnic, gift purchases of wine or lavender products and also wine tasting and tours.
