Enchanted Springs Ranch is an 86-acre working ranch complete with live animals, re-enactors, authentic western-style buildings, and a variety of activities for a full-day of old west fun!

The ranch was originally designed to be used in television and film, and has since grown into the family attraction that it is today. When visiting the Enchanted Springs Ranch you'll have the opportunity to take a tractor wagon ride through the Wild Animal Park, home to Texas Longhorns, buffalo, horses, and several exotic species. Take a self-guided tour of the Old West Town and Texas History Exhibit, and at the end of the day, come visit the "Trading Post," for souvenirs, gifts, snacks, and more.

Tractor rides through the Wild Animal Park will take place throughout the day on request, and you'll get a chance to see local and exotic animals as well as the gentle rolling hills, beautiful flowing streams, and two great lakes. Kids and adults alike will enjoy seeing majestic animals up close and personal.

The Old West Town has exhibits such as saloons, a blacksmith, a gunsmith, and an undertaker. Learn about the necessary trades of a western town, and try your hand at some of them yourself! Numerous entertaining shows are available for your pleasure including Pistol Packin' Paula, a two-time World Champion Gunslinger. Shows are available throughout the day but are subject to change, so be sure and check the schedule for updated information.

Don't forget to check out the Trading Post, where you can purchase all sorts of souvenirs, snacks, and more. Of course, you can also choose to bring a picnic lunch and sit at one of the many tables in town. While here, if someone in your group has been a bit rowdy, you can send them to the jail! They'll be forced to do a little entertaining of their own before getting released. You've never really heard "I'm a Little Teapot" until you've heard mom or dad sing it to escape jail time! Before you leave, be sure and get your picture taken with Woodrow, the longhorn steer. So don't forget your camera!

Do more than just visit San Antonio during your next vacation in Texas, visit tons of fun activities and attractions and learn about the Lone Star State's historic past with the help of Enchanted Springs Ranch.

Cowboy Christmas

The weekend before Christmas every year, the Enchanted Springs Ranch hosts the Cowboy Christmas, which lets visitors experience the holidays in the Old West style! Enjoy fun activities throughout the day, including a live nativity, a cowboy Santa, Christmas music and caroling, craft tables, and of course, a decorated Old West town!

Enchanted springs is geared more for families with young children. It is nice and peaceful though.

"What a fun experience!"
What a fun experience! Again, would have been better had we chosen a cooler time of year to go. Definitely unique and wish we had such attractions closer to where we live.
