The Nightmare on 13th in Salt Lake City, Ut has been scaring people for over 20 years. It is considered to be on of the top haunted attractions in the United States. Every year a new theme is chosen, and the creators are always using the latest technology to make realistic sets and the special effects can not be beaten.
The adventure begins as guests approach the courtyard to the castle-like building. The scares continue throughout the building as guests walk through over 45 rooms within the castle. There are no age restrictions on the event but remember it has been rated one of the scariest attractions in the nation.
The Nightmare on 13th makes its home in an old car dealership. It is the only attraction that plays a movie to watch while guests wait in line to enter the attraction. Troy Barber and Mike Henrie open the attraction under the name the Institue of Terror in 1990, however, changed the name to The Nightmare on 13th after the terrorist attacks on September 11.
Halloween is a time for being scared while having fun. This 36,000 square foot attraction is sure to provide a scary good time for all those who are brave enough to enter the attraction. Things to do while in the area include the Classic Cars International Antique Auto Museum of Utah, The Leonardo Museum, and the Vivint Smart Home Arena.
