Richmond's Street Art Segway Tour
Segways are easy to ride, if you've never ridden on one, don't worry, lessons and safety lessons provided by professionally trained guides before this amazing 2-hour Richmond small group tour by exploring colorful diverse mural art all through the city. Discover why the idea of mural art came to be and admire the magnificent results.
The Richmond Mural Project
The focus began with the Arts and Cultural District up and down Broad Street back in 2012. The interest grew for more colorful attractions throughout the city and steadily rose with business owners and community leaders seeking a new level of national exposure and to increase tourism and raise the diverse cultural awareness so prevalent in the area to new heights.

Time and Location
Wear casual, comfortable clothes and closed toed shoes. Pregnant women not recommended riding on a Segway. Present an electric image of the ticket (via text message) or a print out of a paper copy (via email) both are acceptable.

There's no better way to cover so much ground within 2-hours, then joining in on a Segway group tour with a super guide leading the way and pointing out the murals (and landmarks) through the streets and neighborhoods of Richmond. Virginia. Getting an up-close view affords the opportunity to really see and get a feel of the art in a wonderful fashion. Plus, participates may stop to admire at their whim and take a few pictures, too.
Richmond is known for its rich history, but it is also fast becoming a premier art destination, along with cities such as Philadelphia, Baltimore, and San Francisco. Artist from around the world have been brought to our city to create amazing murals that have been changing the way the world sees Richmond.
The goal of the Richmond Mural Project was to have 100 murals by 2016, and they succeeded! Not to say they are finished. This was only a short term goal, so we should fully expect more artists back in the following years.
