The Holiday Ale Festival is everything a beer lover could imagine, a dream come true if you will. It's a five day long event held in Portland, Oregon under a clear-top tent that covers the historic Pioneer Courthouse Square. They feature dozens of brews to warm you up and bring out the holiday spirit in everyone.
With the tent being clear, you can see the magnificent holiday decorations and the giant tree in the middle of the square from inside while being nice and cozy. Every year Portland hosts many holiday attractions that have countless visitors joining in on the festivities. Last year attendance broke 14,000 people attending the Holiday Ale Festival, who helped earn $20,000 for Children's Cancer Association via the on-site coat check, raffle, and poster sales; you can enjoy yourself and feel good about it.
Last year, the festival celebrated it's twenty-first year of bringing joy and great, unique beer to the city of Portland. While in town, you could check out the annual production of The Nutcracker at the historic Oregon Ballet Theatre, the beautiful Festival of Lights at the grotto, the Christmas Ship Parade, or any of the other brilliant festivities going on. There are many choices to choose from, especially during the holiday season, so everyone can find something that speaks out to them. If you love experiencing new beverages, historical places, and congregating with fellow beer aficionados, then the Holiday Ale Festival is definitely the right place for you. Come out, immerse yourself, and have a wondeful time!
