Small-Group Surf Lesson on the Outer Banks
For those interested in a private surfing lesson, your adventure awaits you on the Outer Banks. Hosted by the acclaimed Farmdog Surf School with professionally trained expert surfers ready to teach even the novice all their tips and tricks to paddle away and ride the waves in Nags Head, North Carolina for about 2-hours of fun in the sun.
Lessons begin with some stretching to get you ready for the lessons, wetsuits and surfboards are provided for every individual. You will learn surf etiquette, board safety, and water safety on the beach. Then, you will head out to the water where your guide will give you instructions on how to paddle in the water and ride the waves. Your instructor will remain in the water through the entirety of your lesson to make you feel at home and help attend to all of your needs to help learn. There is no less than one instructor for every two people making sure you have the ability to learn how to surf efficiently.
While out in the water your instructor where take you to a line-up to help each person catch a wave. The process will begin with helping each student identify a good wave and when to start paddling and line up with the wave. Then, pop up on the board and surf the wave like a true professional.
