Historically. it puts out about 165 million gallons of water every day, which flows about 1,050 feet into the St. John's River. The circular spring pool has steep sandy banks that stand about 15-20 feet above water level. The boardwalk trail leads through the mixed palm and hardwood forest, large live oak trees enhance the accessible walkway.
