Universal Studios Orlando Resort is also home to Islands of Adventure, where you can experience all of the magic of Harry Potter, all of the action of your favorite superheroes and all of the laughs in Toon Lagoon. Help E.T. find his way back home so he can save his planet, protect New York against the aliens, escape from the Revenge of the Mummy and become a storm chaser at Universal Studios Florida. The theme park is home to a variety of rides, shows and play areas so every member of the family can have a good time. Movie enthusiasts will love the Disaster! ride, where they can experience what it's like to be inside of a Hollywood movie. Islands of Adventure
Islands of Adventure is Universal Studios Florida's sister-park and features six distinct 'island' settings that feature a variety of adventures. The various themes include Marvel Super Hero Island, Toon Lagoon, Jurassic Park, The Lost Continent, Seuss Landing, and The Wizarding World of Harry Potter.
About Marvel Super Hero Island
Featuring a variety of Marvel-themed rides and attractions, the Marvel Super Hero Island is filled with fast-paced excitement that make guests feel like they're flying. Ride the high speed Incredible Hulk Coaster, the X-Men teacup ride the Storm Force Accelatron. There are also Marvel-based shops and restaurants, including the Comic Book Shop and Captain America Diner.
About Toon Lagoon
Toon Lagoon isn't just for the kids. Climb into a raft and take on Popeye and Bluto's Bilge-Rat Barges' rapids, or check out the seasonal BMX stunt show, Mat Hoffman's Aggro Circus. Buy a souvenir at the Betty Boop Store, and grab a bite to eat at Blondie's: Home of the Dagwood. Toon Lagoon accommodates both kids and adults, with all of the great attractions.
About Jurassic Park
On the Jurassic Park River Adventure, riders are swept past prehistoric creatures, such as the feared T-Rex, in a thrilling journey before dropping 85 feet down into the lagoon. There are other attractions at the Jurassic Park-themed island as well, including the Pteranodon Flyers ride and the Jurassic Park Discovery Center, featuring full-sized dinosaur skeletons. Shops and restaurants are also around for your convenience, including Dinostore and Pizza Predattoria.
About The Lost Continent
Discover a world full of ancient myths and legends as you step foot into The Lost Continent. Explore 'Sinbad's Bazzaar,' the ancient Arabian-themed marketplace, view the live-action stunt show The Eighth Voyage of Sinbad, then get some shopping in at Coat of Arms, Treasures of Poseidon or any of the other several shops in the island. Grab a bite to eat at the Mythos Restaurant before moving onto the rest of the park.
About Seuss Landing
Seuss Landing accommodates the younger guests to Islands of Adventure. With a Green Eggs and Ham Cafe, Caro-Seuss-el carousel ride, If I Ran the Zoo interactive play zone and more Seuss-themed attractions, there's no shortage of fun found here. The Cat In The Hat ride takes riders on a journey to meet the Cat in the Hat, The Fish, Thing One and Thing Two.
About The Wizarding World of Harry Potter
The Wizarding World of Harry Potter transports Islands of Adventure visitors to the magical world of Hogwarts. Rides that tie-in to the books and films, such as Harry Potter and the Forbidden Journey and Flight of the Hippogriff, are featured alongside numerous familiar sets and shops including The Three Broomsticks Inn, Honeydukes, Owl Post and more. Live out the incredible tale of Harry Potter at Islands of Adventure!
