The annual Holiday River Parade at The Oklahoma River in Oklahoma City,OK is a free family holiday event. The river parade features a ski show, river parade, the arrival of Santa Claus by boat and a grand fireworks display over the river. Due to the lack of free parking in the Boathouse District, visitors are asked to park in Bricktown and walk to the Boathouse District.
Families, individual, businesses, corporations, and groups are all encouraged to enter the parade. In order to keep it a free family event, the parade is paid for by sponsors. New sponsors are always welcome The sponsorship money not only pays for the parade, but also goes to benefit the Oklahoma River Foundation.
The Holiday River Parade is one of many holiday events centered around Oklahoma City.
