Freedom Crossing Monument in Lewiston, NY

Named after the novel of the same name, the Freedom Crossing Monument consists of five bronze sculptures that are 120% life-size. The subjects of the monument are freedom seekers including a mother, father, and infant said to represent Lewiston's Underground Railroad Station Master, Josiah Tyron, and the fictional heroine, Laura Eastman. In addition to the figures on the monument, a rowboat and the banks of the Niagara River are depicted.
