Situated in the middle of the Niagara Falls between the Bridal Veil Falls and the Horseshoe Falls, Goat Island is a popular destination for tourists visiting the Niagara Falls. The island is connected to the U.S. mainland and is largely wooded with foot trails. The island provides some of the most spectacular views of the falls, particularly at Terrapin Point.

On the Maid of the Mist guests will take a 20 minute ride aboard a double-decker boat that allows them to get up close and personal with the Niagara Falls! Starting at the Observation Tower, guests will put on a souvenir poncho for the journey and from there the boat will cruise through the American Falls as well as the Horseshoe Falls!

At the White Water Boardwalk , guests will travel down 230 feet by elevator and then walk along a tunnel to the boardwalk—1,000 feet! At this point guests will marvel at the overwhelming power of nature, and witness the trillions of gallons of water that pass through!

Even better, you'll get to wrap up an exciting day with lunch at the elegant Grand Fallsview Dining Room, which overlooks the rushing waters. Enjoy fine meals like grilled Atlantic salmon, double-roasted prime rib of beef and more.

Sounds like a great vacation, to have all the planning and transportation provided. Plus we get to explore both sides of the falls...In the security of a tour. The idea of an eight hour fun filled day is very appealing.
