Niagara Falls Horseback Riding
Take a beautiful two hour horse back riding tour through Niagara Falls and Lake Erie. The highlights of this tour is the beautiful shoreline of Lake Erie and also Niagara Falls in the Ontario, Canada side. Guests will have the pleasure of riding gentle horses, while galloping through the gorgeous countryside.
Guests start off the day by departing at 12 noon from Wainfleet, Ontario and taking a 45 minute route to the horseback riding tour. Once guest arrive at the ranch a horse will be chosen for you. There are instructions that will be given by the tour guide. Once the horse have been assigned and have their saddles on, everyone will head to the Trans Canada Trail. This is the longest trail in the world due to its intertangle with other trails. There is also firm terrain that is ideal for horseback riding. The lands are nice and have conservative look which makes the land beautiful.
The tour continues along the beach with the horse trotting in shallow waters. At this point guests can explore Lake Erie and tighten up on their riding skills. This is a tour with the age limit being eight years old. So horseback riding can be fun for the family. Beginners are encouraged to ask questions, if they do not understand the concept of how to ride the horse.
The best thing about this tour is that the atmosphere is peaceful. It is important that children wear a helmet when riding. Also, wear comfortable shoes and clothing because the weather does change. Don’t forget the cameras.

Once you are saddled up, head out on backcountry trails winding through hickory and oak trees with scenic vistas of conservation lands. Walk and trot at a gait that's comfortable for you - easy even for beginners - and ask your guide for any assistance you need along the way. Upon reaching the shores of Lake Erie, continue along the beach and perhaps your horse will step into the shallow waters of the lake!
The ride follows the Trans Canada trail, the world's longest network of multi-use trails - planned to reach more than 14,000 miles (23,000 km), from the Atlantic to the Pacific Ocean and north to the Arctic Ocean. These trails are ideal for horseback riding as the firm terrain holds up in all conditions.
