Castle Hill Lighthouse
The Lighthouse was completed in 1890 and is located along the Narragansett Bay. The lighthouse is not open to the general public, however, the grounds near the Castle Hill Inn & Resort are, which allows you to get an up-close view of the unique light tower.
The Old Stone Mill/Newport Tower
Located in Touro Park, the Old Stone Mill, or Newport Tower, sits the remains of a mid 17th-century windmill. Many have speculated it to be many centuries older but carbon dating has proved that is incorrect. The beautiful stone work at the base of the tower gives you a great detailed look to how it would have once stood back in its time. Many paintings have suggested the hill was once visible of the harbor allowing passerbys in the Narragansett Bay to witness the tower.

Brenton Point State Park
This 89-acre public state park offers a great way to experience the city of Newport and the great outdoors. The park got its name from Governor William Brenton, who owned the property through the 17th-century and used the property as a large farmland. Here, you and your family can enjoy hiking paths, fishing, picnics, and picturesque views of the Atlantic Ocean as you enjoy the cool ocean breeze while watching the waves crash along the shoreline.

Newport Art Museum
Founded in 1912, the Newport Art Museum is located in the Griswold House, one of the beautiful mansions located in the area and has been designated a National Historic Landmark. The museum features many art works from local artists of Rhode Island and New England.
This Vanderbilt mansion is open for visitors all year long to explore the gorgeous mansion and its grounds. The home was built in 1895 and sits on the cliffs of Newport overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. The 70-room mansion includes amazing architecture of the Italian Renaissance.
Built as a summer cottage for part of the Vanderbilt family in 1892, this Gilded Age mansion features a temple-front that resembles that of the White House in DC. The fifty-room mansion has appeared in many films including the 1974 Great Gatsby, 27 Dresses, and many more.
This historic house museum was completed in 1902 and features a Grand Ballroom in the center of the home that was featured in many films including 1974 Great Gatsby, True Lies, Amistad, and so much more.
