From the rainforest to the polar circle, these animals need help, and the Central Park zoo dedicates itself to various programs that help orphaned animals and endangered species. One of its most prized exhibits, the Snow Leopard Exhibit, is dedicated to preserving the species.

Exhibits

• Allison Maher Stern Snow Leopard Exhibit

• Central Garden & Sea Lion Pool
  

  The sea lion display, which lies in the middle of the zoo, is undoubtedly one of the highlights. Due to the elaborate habitats and exhibits, one can view these beautiful sea lions both above and below the water. California sea lions are featured in this show.

• Grizzly Bear & Treena's Overlook
  

  View some amazing species at this display! These grizzly bears were adopted after becoming orphans in the wild. These exquisite animals are kept in complicated ecosystems and are an essential part of educating visitors about conservation efforts and the ways that people must coexist with wildlife.

• Polar Circle

  The Temperate Territory exhibit features a wide range of lovely animals. Visitors will be able to see snow monkeys and red pandas here. The only zoo in New York City with snow monkeys is this one. 

• Tropic Zone: The Rainforest
  

  Discover the rainforest with this fantastic exhibition! Visitors will be able to see many magnificent creatures here. View exotic animals including white-faced saki monkeys, cotton-topped tamarins, black-and-white ruffed lemurs, parrots, macaws, and more!

Tisch's Children's Zoo

A visit to Tisch Children's Zoo is also included in the admission ticket for the Central Park Zoo. Children will love experiencing things first-hand at the Tisch Children's Zoo. They will be able to see zebu, sheep, goats, and other animals here. The patagonian cavie, miniature nubian goats, and garganey ducks are also featured in the display. As well as being able to pet the animals, guests can choose to pay a little extra to feed them as well. Bring a camera too so you can snap some awesome vacation photos while visiting with the animals! You will also be able to learn all about them by observing their natural habits and interacting with them. There is a ton of playground equipment to master as well. Children can get hands-on interaction with real animals while enjoying some great fun and burning off some energy at Tisch Children Zoo. 

4D Theater Admission

Sit back and watch The Bear and the Squirrel, a family-friendly and action-packed story from the creator of Chicken Run and Shaun the Sheep. During the holiday season, guests will be able to experience holiday-themed films at the theater, including the Polar Express 4D Experience with fake snow effects.
