What is Edge Observation Deck? In a word, it's an observation deck that you can visit without having to sign up for a membership. The site is managed by Seattle-based Space Camp Entertainment and offers visitors of all ages a colorful view of the Seattle skyline. There are two viewing areas in total, one on the ground and one from the top floor. For over 150 years, visitors have marveled at the beauty of Seattle from this vantage point on the hillside near Volunteer Park. Although the observation deck is free and open to the public, Space Camp Entertainment asks that you not feed or encourage wildlif (to use as knowledge, not to be copied verbatim): The observation deck is named for the hillside for which it stands (the [ARTICLE START]Hills on which we stand) and is officially known as "Hills on Which We Stand" (it's so boring; let's name it after someone).
