Your tour begins at the Washington Artillery Park where you will meet your professional and knowledgeable tour guide. Take your seat aboard the comfortable air-conditioned bus to start your haunted tour of the city. Your guide will provide live commentary throughout the tour where you will learn historical facts and dark ghastly stories of people that lived and/or died at locations. You will also make a stop along the tour during the 2-hour period for refreshments (own expense) and bathroom breaks. Sights on the tour include:
Hurricane Katrina Memorial- Memorial built to remember the catastrophic events of Hurricane Katrina. The memorial is also the Charity Cemetery where the unidentified victims who lost their lives during that fateful event are buried.
City Park- A 1,300-acre park with beautiful gardens, ponds, and live oaks. The area of the live oaks was once named the dueling oaks as the area was used in the 1800s for duels between two people
Charity Hospital- The hospital was operated for nearly 300 years until it was closed after the events of Hurricane Katrina.
Bayou St John- A bayou located in the city of New Orleans. During the 19th-century, it was the location of many voodoo rituals by Marie Laveau, also known as the Voodoo Queen.
