Fun and excitement await while in the Nashville area when you visit Radnor Lake State Park.

This is a large park where families can gather together to enjoy a picnic or run through the grass while playing with a ball or flying a kite. Special events are held during the year, such as Easter egg hunts and Christmas celebrations.

When you arrive at the park, you will find picnic tables and a few grills to enjoy a meal of hamburgers, hot dogs or more. Shelters are available to rent for birthday parties and special occasions. The park is situated along Radnor Lake, which offers fishing, kayaking and a bit of swimming along certain areas of the shore. Educational programs are available so that you can learn about the wildlife that lives in the park. School groups are welcome to tour the area. Several walking trails of various skill levels are scattered throughout. Pets are allowed in the park as long as they are on a leash.
