Will Hoge At Grand Ole Opry
Nashville-native Will Hoge decided to try his hand at music while in college after he began writing his own music. He did not waste time though. Once, he had penned a few songs, he immediately began touring the area and playing anywhere that he could which lead him to independently release his first CD, Live at the Exit/In. The album garnered Hoge attention from Atlantic Records whom he signed a contract with in early 2002. Later that year, he released his first studio album Carousel.
Over the next couple of years, he left changed recording contracts a few times and proceeded to self-release several of his live albums after touring with top artists such as ZZ Top, Lisa Loeb, and Edwin McCain. In 2008, he was in a scooter accident which left him in critical condition with 8 months of surgeries ahead. Upon his return to the stage, he released the album The Wreckage.
Hoge has released 10 independent albums and 7 studio albums. His popular songs include, “Favorite Waste of Time,” Even If It Break Your Heart,” and “When I Get My Wings.”
Will Hoge made his debut on the Grand Ole Opry stage on August 19, 2011.
