Point of Grace At Grand Ole Opry
Point of Grace is an influential contemporary Christian singing group. Their evangelical, inspirational lyrics about salvation and the love of God have made them favorites to Christian music fans. Point of Grace was formed when the four original members (two of which have since left the band) met at Ouchita Baptist University in Arkansas. Today Shelley Breen, Denise Jones, and Leigh Capipillano have built a huge fan base, polished their sound, and become pillars of modern Christian music. Point of Grace earned a record contract when they performed at a Christian Artists Seminar. Their 1993 self-titled debut album produced an unprecedented five consecutive No. 1 singles, beginning with their breakthrough hit “I'll Be Believing.” Since then, Point of Grace has recorded 9 albums, plus several best-of compilations and four Christmas albums. They are the recipients of 13 Dove Awards. Their biggest hits include “Day bu Day,” “Let the Be Light,” “How You Live,” and “I Wish.” Point of Grace is active in charity and humanitarian efforts as strong supporters of the child-sponsoring agency Compassion International and founders of Mercy Ministries, which provided help to young women facing life-controlling issues such as depression, eating disorders, unplanned pregnancy, and abuse. Point of Grace debuted on the Opry stage in 2008.
