Drake White At Grand Ole Opry
Born in Hokes Bluff, Alabama, Drake White is an aspiring singer/songwriter now residing in Nashville. Drake sand in the choir at his local church and began writing songs when he was 14, and later in life, he worked with a general contractor in Nashville before quitting that job in favor of a musical career.
In concert, he and his band, Drake White & The Big Fire, opened up performances for musicians like Eric Church, Luke Bryan, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Tyler Bryant, and Channing Wilson. Drake has a very different country feel with a freestyle twist on many of his original songs, ad-libbing throughout the show. Country, blues, rock, freestyle, and bluegrass have all influenced his musical sound, making him quite a unique performer.
In early 2013, Drake released his debut single “Simple Life” through MCA Nashville.
