Chuck Wicks At Grand Ole Opry
Chuck Wicks is a country singer/songwriter best known for his single “Stealing Cinderella.” Wicks grew up on a potato farm in Delaware, and moved to Nashville to try his hand at songwriting after dropping out of school two classes short of graduation. Wick wrote close to 100 songs per year and was noticed by RCA Records. Wicks debuted his first single, “Stealing Cinderella,” during his first Opry performance in 2007. The song about a man asking for his girlfriend's hand in marraige became the biggest single of the year, peaking at No. 5 on country charts and quickly becoming a favorite for father/daughter dances at weddings. Wicks followed it with two more charting singles, “All I Ever Wanted” and “Man of The House” from his 2008 debut album Starting Now.
