If you're looking for adventure on the Colorado River and through the majestic Canyonlands National Park, take this half-day jetboat tour. You'll get amazing photograph opportunities, a thrilling ride on a jet boat and a chance to see a part of the Canyonlands that can only be accessed by the river.
Leave the troubles of the everyday world behind as you set out in a speedy, comfortable jet boat for a half-day of sightseeing along the Colorado River. As you depart from the meeting point and are driven to the river, you'll stop along the way to view ancient Native American markings and prehistoric, fossilized dinosaur tracks. Once you reach the river, you'll board and claim a comfortable seat aboard the jet boat. At times, the adventure will have you tearing through the water at speeds of up to 20 miles per hour, while other times the motor will be off for you enjoy a lazy float and quiet rustling of the wilderness.
Soar through the water while the high, red sandstone rises on either side of you. Keep an eye out for the local wildlife that may be out and about, like eagles, deer, and bighorn sheep. Depending on the river level, you may get the added bonus of seeing Dead Horse Point from the river, where the canyon walls rise up to 1,500 feet above the ground. At the end of the half-day cruise, you'll be transported back to the meeting spot. You can also combine your jet boat cruise with a jeep expedition through Canyonlands National Park, a hiking tour through Arches National Park (guests must pay the $5 dollar entrance fee or produce a National Park Pass), or a river rafting tour down the Colorado River.
