The Emerald Cave Clear View Kayak Half-Day Guided Tour provides you the unique opportunity to explore the clear waters and winding passages of this world class cave. You will enjoy excellent boat handling, safety equipment, and coaching from our expert guides. This tour is great for beginners and families with children.

Accommodations - Stay at a nearby hotel or campground on your own (optional) or we can provide you with a shuttle service back to your accommodations (additional fee).

Kayaking - Kayak with our expert guides in a group of approximately 10 people. Kayaks are provided for you, including paddles, life jackets, and paddling gear.

Guided Tour - The guided tour begins at the parking area where a kayak guide will give you instructions on how to use your kayak and perform check-in procedures. You will then join the main group that will transport you to the cave entrance (1 hour).

Katydid Guided Tours offer this half-day guided tour every day of the year except Thanksgiving Day, Christmas Day and New Year's Day. Tours are offered twice per day: 9:00AM and 1:00PM.

This tour is family-friendly, with an adult to child ratio of 2:1. All children must wear a life jacket (provided) and be at least 42 inches tall to board the kayak and navigate the river safely.

The tour includes your transportation from your accommodations or campground to and from the cave (additional fee).

Guided tours include transportation to the cave entrance only; kayaks are provided, but you must have your own transportation back to your accommodation or campground if you decide not to purchase our optional shuttle service.

- All participants on the tour will be transported back to the parking lot after the tour has concluded.

Stop At: Las Vegas, Las Vegas, Nevada

All guests will launch from Willow Beach Marina. After a quick kayaking lesson before gearing up and getting on your kayak. You will follow your guide and paddle north on the Colorado River to the picturesque Emerald Cave, for a round-trip of 4-miles. You'll will stop along the way for breaks and wildlife sightings, swim, or just to take pictures. This includes a short 15 minute hike above the River with amazing views and history of the River Gaugers.
