Playmill Theatre Jackson in Jackson, WY has a sister location in West Yellowstone, Montana that has enjoyed a legacy that spans over forty years.
This legacy and successful showing prompted the owners to open the Jackson location to bring a little theatrical fun to the residents and tourists in Jackson Hole, Wyoming. The Playmill Theater is a slightly different breed of theater offering a motley crew of shows and talent from a musical to comedy to western, the theater plays to everyone's favorite genres.
With the theater, another element is added for a true Jackson Hole tour. It is great family entertainment that even the kids will love and appreciate. The part that they usually wait for though is the intermission. While they do not serve any meals, the theater does serve snacks like ice cream, sodas, popcorn and the most decadent fudge you'll ever eat. In fact, the fudge is a tradition at the West Yellowstone location which got carried over to the Jackson Hole location too.
As the Playmill Theater rotates its shows, you will want to call ahead to see what play is currently showing as well as when the show times are. It's always best to arrive early to get to your seats before the show starts. Children two and under are free as long as they sit in an adult's lap while children three to 12 years of age are the price of a children's price ticket. People 13 years of age and up are considered adults. Prices typically are $25 for Adults and $20 for kids in the premium seats while the standard seats are $20 and $15 each respectively. Students and seniors are given a 10% discount.
