A truly incomparable experience awaits you on the Sunrise Wildlife Expedition, where you can come face-to-face with some of the most fascinating residents of the Greater Yellowstone area. This tour will give you the chance to receive a better understanding of the creatures that call this land home, including moose, elk, birds and more.

Your tour will kick off bright and early, anywhere from 6:00 a.m. to 8:00 a.m. depending on the time of year, and will take you to some of the most active areas in the park. The bears, moose, deer, elk and other creatures are at their peak as the sun rises, and you will have the opportunity to see them in their natural habitat. Your expedition leader will take you to the best viewing spots, point out the differences, similarities and significances of animal behavior and teach you how to safely observe the wildlife on your own.

You’ll take off on your four-hour tour in a state-of-the-art, safari-style vehicle. Your mode of transportation is equipped with a retractable roof hatch and sliding windows in order to give you the best viewing experience possible. Your expedition will have a more personalized feel with both the environment and the animals, so you are sure to remember the experience forever. This is a very good way to see some wildlife in grand teton national park. Jessica did a great job in finding the best spots. The moose in the middle of a pond was a superb photo opportunity.
